Come and learn the ancient techniques of the Roman and Bysantine mosaic with Arianna Puntin.

During this workshop you will discover the common grounds as well as the main differences between those two ancient classical mosaic techniques. Arianna will teach the basics of andamento and how to cut tesserae using the traditional hammer and hardie.

Designs will be available for you to choose from a selection of classical Greek/Roman and Byzantine mosaics.

Student will have access from a wide selection of materials, colourful smaltis from Italy, marble and gold.

Everything you need to learn in mosaic and more will be part of this course.
