What began as a spark of hope for young adults looking to enter the manufacturing field has grown into a movement of resilience, empowerment, and career transformation.
MOSAIC first launched the Fast Track to Manufacturing (F2M) program with the aim of supporting young adults to find meaningful work in the manufacturing sector. With initial funding and a strong vision, the team at MOSAIC built a program that would equip participants with the training, tools, and confidence they needed to succeed. Over four transformative years, 12 cohorts took part in the program—each one a testament to the power of guidance, community, and opportunity.
But the journey wasn’t without challenges.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the F2M team adapted. With creativity and care, they pivoted to offer the program entirely online – reimagining site visits, mentorship, and hands-on learning for the virtual world. For many young adults stuck in isolation and uncertainty, F2M became more than a program – it became a lifeline.
In the face of adversity, F2M stood strong.
The incredible impact of those first 12 cohorts caught the attention of both participants and community partners alike. The demand grew. And so did the vision.
That’s when MOSAIC submitted a proposal The result was the birth of F2M Plus: a more dynamic, inclusive version of the original, opening doors for youth not just in manufacturing but across high-demand trades.
And the response? Over 1000 applications poured in.
Since launching F2M Plus, the program has graduated 8 cohorts and one undergoing the training, with 99 young adults completing the training and 76 of them successfully securing employment in their field – an impressive 77% success rate.
Behind these numbers are real people. Youth who came in unsure of their next steps, often facing personal and professional barriers. Today, they are apprentices and full-time employees – many working in positions they never thought possible.

MOSAIC’s F2M Plus proves what’s possible when community, compassion, and career development come together. It’s more than job training. It’s about believing in potential, even when the world feels uncertain.
As one chapter closes with each cohort’s graduation, another begins – with every participant who walks into a job interview with confidence, starts their first shift, or gets that well-earned promotion.
The journey from “fast track” to long-term success isn’t easy. But at MOSAIC, it’s always possible.
